"Ready SET Go! / "Learn to Move, Move to Learn" involves improving all children's academic abilities by stimulating sensory and motor skills which are the underlying mechanisms by which the brain is able to learn. Each lesson plan is based on a theme and this helps children learn context, association and meaning. Literacy is an integral aspect of this program, as we incorporate a storybook in every themed lesson plan. In addition, the stories are carefully chosen to promote interactive participation. The chosen book may have a repeated phrase that the children can vocalize along with the teacher leader, it may have rhyming words which helps children with reading comprehension, and the chosen book always has simple language to help children understand the concepts.
